Instructions
Step 1: Make the Cherry Compote

2️⃣ Once simmering, add the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2–3 minutes, until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2: Prepare the Chocolate Mousse
1️⃣ Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly.
2️⃣ In a mixing bowl, whisk the chilled coconut cream, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
3️⃣ Slowly fold in the melted chocolate until well combined.
Step 3: Whip the Coconut Cream
1️⃣ Scoop the solid coconut cream from the chilled can, leaving the liquid behind.
2️⃣ Beat the cream with a hand mixer, adding powdered sugar and vanilla extract, until light and fluffy.
