Cassidy and I have always had a soft spot for tiramisu. It's one of those desserts that feels indulgent and comforting at the same time. One evening, after a long day of recipe testing, we found ourselves craving something sweet but didn't want to spend hours in the kitchen. Lauren remembered a simple vegan tiramisu recipe she had come across, and we decided to give it a try. With just a few ingredients and minimal effort, we whipped up a dessert that was so delightful, it felt like a little victory. Now, it's our go-to treat when we want something quick yet satisfying.

Most of the recipes we (Lauren and Cassidy) make at home come from this cookbook.

It’s our go-to. That’s why we are happy to recommend it to you too.

Add the cream layer

  • Spread a layer of the tofu-coconut cream over the soaked biscuits, smoothing it out evenly.

Repeat the layers

  • Continue layering soaked biscuits and cream until you run out of ingredients, finishing with a layer of cream on top.

Chill

  • Cover the tiramisu and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

Serve

  • Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with grated dark chocolate if desired.

This easy vegan tiramisu has become a staple in our dessert repertoire. Its simplicity doesn't compromise on flavor, and it's always a hit with friends and family. Lauren loves how the creamy layers contrast with the coffee-soaked biscuits, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes.

Whether you're hosting a dinner party or simply treating yourself, this tiramisu is sure to impress. It's a testament to how a few simple ingredients can come together to create something truly special. We hope it brings as much joy to your table as it does to ours.
