It was one of those slow Sunday afternoons when Lauren and Cassidy found themselves flipping through their kitchen notebook, searching for something fun and satisfying to bake. Cassidy mentioned how she missed the thick, chewy crust of focaccia, and Lauren lit up with an idea—what if they turned focaccia into pizza? With no plans and plenty of time, they let the dough rise slowly while music played in the background. The whole house smelled like an Italian bakery by the time the pizza came out of the oven, golden and bubbling with melted vegan cheese.
Now, this focaccia pizza has become one of their go-to comfort meals. Lauren loves how the dough is soft yet sturdy enough to hold all their favorite toppings. Cassidy always adds a little extra oregano and garlic to the sauce—it’s her signature move. It’s the kind of recipe they pull out when they want something that feels cozy and homemade, but still a little special.

This focaccia pizza always feels like a little celebration, even on the most ordinary days. There's something about the fluffy dough and those caramelized edges that makes it impossible not to sneak a bite while it’s still on the cutting board. We’ve played around with toppings—sometimes olives, sometimes sun-dried tomatoes—and it never disappoints.
We hope it brings some extra warmth and flavor into your kitchen too. It’s perfect for sharing, but we wouldn’t blame you if you kept a few slices all to yourself.
