What You’ll Need 🛒

  • 3 large ripe peaches (sliced, juicy, and full of flavor!)
  • 4-5 black tea bags (or your favorite tea blend)
  • 6 cups water (for the perfect tea strength!)
  • ½ cup honey or maple syrup (adjust sweetness to your liking)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (for a touch of citrusy brightness!)
  • Ice cubes (because what’s sweet tea without ice?!)
  • Fresh mint leaves (for that extra-refreshing kick!)

How to Make This Southern Peach Sweet Tea

1️⃣ Brew the Tea: Bring 4 cups of water to a gentle boil. Remove from heat, add tea bags, and let steep for 10-15 minutes for a rich, smooth flavor.
2️⃣ Prepare the Peach Syrup: In a saucepan, combine sliced peaches, honey (or maple syrup), and 2 cups of water. Simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until the peaches break down and release their juices.
3️⃣ Strain & Mix: Mash the peaches slightly, then strain the syrup to remove pulp. Mix it with the brewed tea and add lemon juice for a citrusy twist!
4️⃣ Chill & Serve: Let the tea cool, then pour it over a glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with fresh peach slices and mint leaves.
